Tradewind is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Year 2 class in a charming Primary School located in the Bramhall area of Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed individual seeking a long-term, full-time role.

Role:

  • Pay: £76 to £85 per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher with daily activities and lesson preparation.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, ensuring each child can reach their full potential.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe and orderly atmosphere.
  • Support children with special educational needs and adapt learning materials accordingly.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • A patient, caring, and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to the academic and social development of children.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare is desirable but not essential.
