Astute's Renewables team is partnering with an engineering consultancy with a 30 year reputation of successful energy infrastructure projects, to recruit a Engineering Consultant for their Stockport site.

Responsibilities and duties

As the Engineering Consultant you will:
  • Use your expertise in the planning, design and modification of infrastructure projects.
  • Budget manage small and large scale projects.
  • Create and facilitate technical contract drafting
  • Liaise between both non engineer and engineering teams to ensure task are completed to the highest standards.
  • Complete due diligence of behalf of investors & vendors.



Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards
  • Previous experience within consultancy
  • Renewable, power generation or plant background
  • Construction experience



Personal skills

The Engineering Consultant role would suit someone who is:

  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal
  • Able to communicate with all levels
  • Competent user of MS office
