An Executive Assistant is required to provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to the Executive team for a Not-for-Profit company based in Stockport. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong background in providing executive support to senior leadership.

Our client is a well-established entity within the Not-for-Profit industry, with a large workforce spread across multiple locations in the UK.

Description

  • Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the team
  • Organising national and international events and meetings.
  • Managing diaries, coordinating meetings and, organising travel arrangements for multiple members of the Executive team
  • Preparing reports, presentations and correspondence
  • Managing national and international travel and accommodation for the Executive team and event attendees
  • Maintaining confidential files and records
  • Act as a primary point of contact and provide cover in the absence of the Senior Executive Assistant
  • Handling incoming enquiries and resolving issues efficiently,
  • Assisting with project management tasks as required
  • Coordinating schedules, meetings and appointments both internally and with external stakeholders and institutions
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
  • Preparing and distributing meeting agendas and materials including confidential meeting papers
  • Contributing to the overall efficiency of the Secretarial & Business Support department

Profile

A successful Executive Assistant should have:

  • Experience as an Executive Assistant
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, can-do attitude
