My client are a family owned civil engineering and groundworks contractor delivering high quality services from smaller schemes to large scale projects. They provide expertise in all aspects of civil engineering including roads and sewers, highways, groundworks, landscaping, excavation, surfacing, concrete, and traffic management.
Due to sustained growth, they are looking to recruit an Assistant Estimator to join their team.
Role overview:
- As an Assistant Estimator, you'll be essential in facilitating the execution of projects. Your primary focus will be on estimating tasks. This position presents an excellent opportunity to develop in your career. You will be assisting the Senior Estimator in pricing competitive and negotiated tenders, whilst developing your skill set.
- Collaborate closely to define project needs, address challenges, and maintain consistency between projected expenses and project objectives.
- Participate in site inspections during tender phases to acquire supplementary insights influencing bids and identify potential hurdles to overcome for a competitive proposal.
- Execute any relevant tasks as assigned for the position.
Salary: The salary for this role is up to 40,000 plus package.
