  • Maintain accurate records of system design, modifications, and maintenance activities.
  • Support the preparation of project proposals, feasibility studies, and technical specifications.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in railway signaling technology, standards, and regulations.
  • Participate in relevant conferences, seminars, and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Share acquired knowledge with colleagues and contribute to the development of the engineering team.

As a Principal Systems Engineer, the solutions you will create are expected to support our railway products and meet our high reliability and safety targets for years to come. You will have an opportunity to work in many areas of the systems life cycle demonstrating your capability in many new and exciting projects. The role will include leading the development and / or improvement of tools and processes within the business including requirements capture, planning, specifications, design, implementation, testing and roll out. Assist in ensuring that tools and processes remain fit for purpose and enable continuous improvement of them by leading regular reviews and proactively suggesting and implementing improvements. In this role you will be expected to mentor and develop others as well as show an awareness of business operations in supporting the products you produce as well as existing solutions.
