The Recruitment Group is proud to be working with a fantastic company based in stockport. They are a leading global technology solutions provider to high-value segments of the food processing and air transportation industries and are looking for an Assembly technician to join their team.


Main duties and responsibilities of an Assembly Technician:


. Ensure assembly and build quality is of the highest possible standard.
. Ensure machinery is fully PDI'd and tested prior to delivery.
. Attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.
. Being self-disciplined, proactive, and hard-working
. High degree of interpersonal skills and communication skills.
. Working to deadlines and delivery dates.
. Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded.
. Escalate any build anomalies to relevant persons.
. On-site commissioning and customer training.


Experience/knowledge requirements for an Assembly Technician:


. Principally be responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies.
. Be able to read and understand engineering drawings and pneumatic circuits.
. Manage and keep your electronic parts lists accurate.
. Can carry out mechanical surveys, repairs, and servicing of equipment
. General engineering, marking out, drilling, and tapping.
. Time served with C&G or modern apprenticeship.
. Carry out work on-site, or off-site as requested and agreed.
