Your Mission

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in identifying opportunities and markets, assessing all possibilities for business growth. Your responsibilities will include contributing to and implementing business development strategies that align with key business goals. By developing new relationships and maintaining high-level contacts with current clients and project partners, you will be at the forefront of expanding our client's reach.

You will assess risks with potential business opportunities, ensuring the company's interests are always protected. Representing our client at events and functions, you'll showcase the company's capabilities and services. Your role involves delivering compelling presentations to prospective clients, preparing monthly progress reports for the directors, and visiting project sites to meet with clients and report on performances.

Collaborating closely with the Managing Director, you'll ensure all marketing materials reflect the company's goals and values, sharing market intelligence across the team. Your involvement in the tender process, from receipt to presentation of proposals to clients, will be crucial in securing new projects and partnerships.

Key Competencies:

  • A relevant degree in Construction, Engineering, or substantial experience within the Electrical Construction industry.
  • Experience working for an Electrical Contractor is advantageous.
  • Proven Business Development experience at a senior level, with a strong commercial and technical background.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the UK Construction industry.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to lead a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word.

Offer Details

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience) + Car Allowance, Pension, and an exceptional Bonus Scheme.
