Clinical Lead Nurse - RMN/RNLD - 22 per hour - Full Time - Days

Are you ready to make a real difference in people's lives? We're seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Clinical Lead Nurse - RMN/RNLD to join our close-knit team in Cheadle. At our small but dedicated service, we specialize in providing rehabilitation and care for adults facing enduring mental health issues, mild learning disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. Our mission? To empower each individual, helping them develop skills and achieve their goals during their recovery journey, enabling them to reach their fullest potential.

You'll work hand-in-hand with our Registered Manager, ensuring our home meets the highest standards set by the Care Quality Commission and all relevant legislation. We're looking for someone with strong leadership skills to maintain our professional standards, offer unwavering support and guidance, and ensure the personal development needs of our team are met. Your clinical leadership will be crucial in providing top-notch care and support to all residents.

Flexibility is key, as hours can be negotiable but typically involve a mix of supernumerary and on-shift hours.

Qualifications:
  • Registered UK Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse

Experience (preferred but not mandatory):
  • Experience working with individuals facing complex mental health needs, mild learning disabilities, and/or brain injuries, collaborating with psychiatric and community support teams.
  • Proficiency in care planning tools.
  • Experience in conducting audits and developing action plans to enhance services.
  • Leadership and management skills, including supervision, performance management, and mentoring.
  • During your shifts, you'll take on lead nurse responsibilities, guiding, supervising, and supporting our care team to deliver personalized, person-centered care. Your duties will also include safe administration of prescribed medications, monitoring medication stock levels, ensuring resident safety and well-being, and completing tasks such as audits and updating care and risk plans.
