The Opportunity
Click Teachers are looking for a full-time Behaviour Specialist, with strong classroom management skills to provide long-term support to a secondary school in Stoke. This role will be within a welcoming and supportive school who are dedicated to raising and continually improving standards.
This is an on-going opportunity, to run up until July 2024 and potentially restarting in September 2024. This could lead to a permanent position for the right person.
This role would suit a disciplined and resilient Teacher or Cover Supervisor with strong behaviour management skills, gained within a mainstream school, alternative provision or Pupil Referral Unit.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and deliver engaging lessons to students
Effectively manage and implement behaviour and reward systems
Conduct hands-on experiments and demonstrations to enhance student learning
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan activities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field advantageous
Qualified Teacher Status preferable
Proven experience teaching in challenging context schools
Knowledge of UK curriculum standards advantageous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage and engage students in learning
