The Opportunity

Click Teachers are looking for a full-time Behaviour Specialist, with strong classroom management skills to provide long-term support to a secondary school in Stoke. This role will be within a welcoming and supportive school who are dedicated to raising and continually improving standards.

This is an on-going opportunity, to run up until July 2024 and potentially restarting in September 2024. This could lead to a permanent position for the right person.

This role would suit a disciplined and resilient Teacher or Cover Supervisor with strong behaviour management skills, gained within a mainstream school, alternative provision or Pupil Referral Unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and deliver engaging lessons to students

  • Effectively manage and implement behaviour and reward systems

  • Conduct hands-on experiments and demonstrations to enhance student learning

  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field advantageous

  • Qualified Teacher Status preferable

  • Proven experience teaching in challenging context schools

  • Knowledge of UK curriculum standards advantageous

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to effectively manage and engage students in learning
