A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record in sales of packaging or process machinery or materials handling solutions to the beverage, food and/or logistics markets.   As our Sales Manager, you will be working for a well established UK sales and service office of a major European manufacturer of end of line packaging machinery solutions. We have just embarked on a impressive 3 year growth plan including a move to new premises and significant investment in marketing to support the sales team.   BASIC SALARY: up to £60,000   BENEFITS:· Circa £20,000 Annual Bonus · Choice of Company Car · 10% Pension · Private Health   LOCATION: Home based and covering the North of England & Scotland (North of Birmingham)   COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Stoke, Birmingham, Hull, Carlisle   JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager - Packaging Machinery, Food   Classic territory management role taking over a well established but recently under performing territory with a brief to grow the business back to its historic level in the first two years. Reporting directly to the Managing Director as part of a large and well established sales team.   PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Manager, Business Development Manager - Packaging Machinery, Food   · You WILL have a proven track record in sales of packaging & process machinery to the beverage, food &/or logistics markets. · Any experience of selling end of line packaging machinery or materials handling solutions would be advantageous. · An engineering background &/or engineering qualifications would also be advantageous.   THE COMPANY:  A well established UK sales and service office of a major European manufacturer of end of line packaging machinery solutions who have just embarked on a impressive 3 year growth plan including a move to new premises and significant investment in marketing to support the sales team.   I have recruited for this company for over 7 years and have placed 9 people with them in management, sales and service roles.
