Head of Sales and Business Development - EMEA

An exciting, brand new opportunity for a sales and business development lead to work for one of the UK’s leading wholesalers with a large catalogue of licensed products.? The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the EU market but will certainly have set and delivered sales plans for themselves and their teams in a new-market space.

Collaborating with colleagues within the sales, product and marketing teams, the Head of Sales and Business Development EMEA owns the go to market approach for a designated region to support the businesses ambitious growth plans. These focus on taking the exciting and established ranges to entirely new markets as well as growing substantially the territories already established.

Be accountable for;

? Establishing and delivering agreed sales targets by-

  • Identifying potential scale and opportunities within designated markets.
  • Creating plans to engage with the market and selling these into the business.
  • Creating networks and teams to deliver on these.
  • Establish client plans to support existing and key clients and grow the relationships.
  • Focus on key 3rd party relationships to grow outreach into markets.
  • Supporting the wider sales and business teams in growing range, operational solution and marketing to optimise their market position.
  • Providing insight back into the business to support improvements in products, processes and client experience.

You will have success here if your skills enable you to;

  • Analyse internal and external data to identify and exploit opportunities and sell these back into the business.
  • Organise yours and your teams work in a clear, targeted, structured way.
  • Influence the wider business to help you deliver on your goals.
  • Develop yours and other teams skills in the selling and market led space.
  • Operate at pace within a fast growing environment.
  • Manage remote 3rd party relationships to deliver to the business goals.
  • Define creative commercial solutions which help both the business and it's customers deliver on their goals.

Specific activities will include;

  • Delivering against the above accountabilities within the EU & EMEA regions and developing the growth plan.
  • Ensure robust client planning in place for established customers manging the existing Commercial Manager.
  • Growing sales at client level
  • Establish new distribution channels in both existing and new countries.
  • Support, and lead if needed, in projects required to support expansion such as 3PL establishment, IT model required, marketing outreach.
  • Create, own and deliver a sales and market plan for your region.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Full time? - salary up to £70k (potential stretch for the right individual)
  • Good bonus scheme in place
  • Place of work: HQ in Stoke-on-Trent
  • Some UK and international travel will be required with occasional nights away.
