Our client is a leading provider of energy solutions, focusing on renewable technologies and energy storage. The client are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Battery Storage Construction Manager to contribute to their ongoing growth and success.

Job Description:

The client are seeking a Battery Storage Construction Manager to oversee the construction and installation of their state-of-the-art battery storage facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy, battery storage, and construction management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all construction aspects of the battery storage project from planning to implementation.
  2. Allocate resources for assigned projects.
  3. Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors.
  4. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers.
  5. Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
  6. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
  7. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  8. Conduct risk management to minimise project risks.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  2. SMSTS/SSSTS
  3. First Aid course
  4. Proven working experience in construction management, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
  5. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
  6. Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
  7. Familiarity with construction management software packages.
  8. Ability to plan and see the "big picture".
  9. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
  10. Excellent time and project management skills.
