The Opportunity

We are thrilled to announce an opening for a dedicated Geocycle Manager to join our innovative team. Key Responsibilities

The Geocycle Manager U.K. manages the alternative fuel and raw material (AFR) activities for Cauldon Cement Plant as well as coordinating exports to other Holcim facilities. The role of Geocycle Manager is to develop, implement and lead the business's UK and export AFR strategy, supply-chain and operations, whilst ensuring the business’s quality, compliance, commercial and sustainability objectives are met.

You will lead our efforts to develop and implement strategies for waste management and resource recovery, aligning with our sustainability goals. Your role will be central to transforming how we manage resources, driving the shift towards a circular economy within our operations.

Driving Sustainability and Resource Recovery:

Developing and overseeing the execution of waste management strategies.

Innovating and implementing resource recovery methods to reduce waste.

Leading cross-functional teams to ensure sustainability goals are met.

Engaging with stakeholders to promote and enhance our sustainability initiatives.

Operational Excellence & Team Leadership:

Represent the company within the U.K. and European waste and recycling market, ensuring that strong relationships are built and maintained, and at all times promoting in a professional manner the core principles and objectives of the company.

Ensuring efficient operation of all Geocycle activities.

Mentoring and leading teams with empathy and inclusivity.

Building partnerships to support waste reduction initiatives.

Who are you?

You have an excellent understanding of the U.K. waste market with a particular focus on AFR supported by a degree level in an appropriate discipline. WAMITAB / CoTC Level 4 in Waste Management is beneficial.

A driven, yet measured personality, with the ability to inspire and lead a team to deliver results. You’ll be a confident individual who revels in a challenge and has the ability to develop and deliver an idea,from concept through to completion.

You possess strong organisation, administrative and presentation skills (electronic & in-person) and have a real eye for detail and an ability to analyse the data that is provided by your team. With a commercial mindset and mature negotiation skills, excellent communication skills and with the ability to build rapport and influence across a full spectrum of internal and external stakeholders

You’ll be passionate about sustainability, with a strategic mindset towards achieving tangible outcomes and display strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards common goals.

Displaying exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication abilities you’ll be a collaborative team player who values inclusion and diversity in the workplace.
