The Company

Oscar Tech are working with an MSP focused on delivery highly secure IT Infrastructure and Networks for government and defence organisations across the UK. They are the leaders of their niche and have been going from strength to strength in the 10 years they have been running.

The Role

You will be joining a part of highly successful team who play a pivotal role in the building, configuration, and deployment of bespoke communication solutions for a number of clients in the governance and defence space within the UK.

You'll be heading up a team of around 15 Engineers with experience ranging from 1st-2nd Line, with some involvement in 3rd Line operations too. You'll have a mixture of hands on and work, made up of both BAU and projects. The team operate

Within the role you'll be seeing over overseeing shift operations, handling complex incident escalations, and maintaining high service levels, monitoring system performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a knack for identifying training needs.

All applicants must either have or be able to obtain SC and/or DV Clearence. They will put you through the process but you must be eligible for it to be considered for the role.

Skills We Are On The Look Out For

  • ITIL
  • Strong Service Desk Experience (Management experience not essential but advantageous)
  • Technical Knowledge In These Areas:
    • VMware - vSphere, vSAN, vCenter
    • Windows Server
    • Office 365
    • Endpoint Management
    • General Networking - LAN/WAN, Routers & Switches
  • Any Certification's Also Highly Advantageous
