Infrastructure Engineer (VMWare)

Sanderson Government and Defence are working with an exciting and emerging player in the MoD Infrastructure space in their search for a high level Infrastructure Engineer.

This role would suit an experienced engineer, with experience of working independently and potentially as the sole Engineer on a given project or piece of work. You would also ideally have some experience on the Design side rather than purely engineering, although this will still be your primary focus.

Technically, the list is as follows, although it's worth noting that VMware is a priority:

  • Physical infrastructure/components
  • VMWare (vSAN, vCenter, Horizon, ESXi etc
  • HLD and LLD experience
  • Documentation/best practices
  • Windows Servers (Installation through to maintenance)
  • Active Directory
  • DNS
  • Understanding of AWS or Azure
