As a Service Desk Technician, you will be the linchpin in our support structure, serving as the primary contact for all user queries. You will handle a variety of tasks, from logging issues via a ticket system to updating users on the status of their queries promptly. You will also move and install IT equipment, supporting a range of devices across our site. This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of first-line IT experience who is eager to build on their IT knowledge and skills.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 37.5 Hours per week (7.30am to 4 pm), Permanent, full-time
Service Desk Technician Requirements:
- Proven Customer Service experience
- Outstanding communication skills—both telephone and face-to-face
- Proficiency in MS Office and Windows Support, with a basic understanding of AD, DNS, DHCP, and Office 365
- A genuine desire to learn and grow in the IT field
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
Due to the truly generalist nature of our team and this role it will not suit candidates with technically specialist interests or qualifications such as cyber, programming and gaming or web design.
