Job Title: HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) / Unqualified TeacherJob Description: We are looking for a versatile HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) or an Unqualified Teacher with a big heart, a warm smile, and a passion for working with students experiencing Social and Emotional Mental Health challenges. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young learners who require additional support and guidance.Key Responsibilities:1. Provide Support: Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons, focusing on students with Social and Emotional Mental Health needs.2. Emotional Support: Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and supported emotionally.3. Individualized Learning: Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, tailoring approaches to their specific challenges and abilities.4. Behavior Management: Implement effective behavior management techniques, maintaining a calm and positive atmosphere in the classroom.5. Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, educational psychologists, and other support staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).6. Progress Monitoring: Track student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.7. Promote Inclusion: Champion inclusive practices and promote the social integration of students with Social and Emotional Mental Health needs.8. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in working with these students.Qualifications and Skills:* A big heart and a warm smile.* Experience working with students who have Social and Emotional Mental Health challenges (experience as an HLTA or Unqualified Teacher is a plus).* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Patience, empathy, and a strong desire to make a positive difference in the lives of young learners.* Willingness to learn and adapt to the unique needs of each student.* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.* Flexibility and a growth mindset.* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.Additional Information:* Location: Stoke-On-trent* Contract Type: Full time* Salary: £89-£100 a day* Start Date: ASAPAspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
