Role - Service Manager
Salary - 34,000 basic with OTE 45,000
Location - Stoke
Richard Abson Group are on the look out for an experienced Service manager to work running the aftersales department in a main dealership of 7 technicians and 2 advisors.
Role and responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the service department, meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction targets.
- To communicate with the customer regarding the repairs and any additional work required, providing excellent customer service and duty of care.
- Maintain strong relationships with brand representatives and negotiate service agreements.
- Proactively address customer concerns and ensure prompt resolution to maintain customer loyalty.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements to enhance department performance and profitability.
Skills you need
- Knowledge and experience of working as part of a service department (1 year minimum)
- Strong drive to succeed with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve outstanding results.
- Knowledge of multiple brands and their service requirements is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of automotive technologies and diagnostic tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
