- Lead on complex Child in Need, Child Protection, and Court work
- Undertake high-quality assessments and develop impactful, person-centred care plans
- Work directly with families to build trusting, therapeutic relationships
- Offer supervision and guidance to less experienced practitioners
- Deputise for the Team/Principal Manager as required
- Drive multi-agency collaboration to deliver effective and sustainable change
- Is a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
- Has 4+ years’ post-qualification experience, ideally with significant experience in safeguarding
- Is confident managing cases involving Child Protection, CIN, court proceedings, and pre-proceedings
- Has excellent assessment, planning, and direct work skills
- Understands the impact of trauma, abuse, and neglect on child development
- Possesses outstanding communication, negotiation, and mediation abilities
- Works effectively in multi-agency teams and brings a solution-focused approach
