This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, reflective, and well-managed service that prioritises early intervention, effective safeguarding, and excellent outcomes for children and families.?? The Role:As an Advanced/Senior Practitioner, you’ll play a vital leadership role — supporting children and families through complex safeguarding issues while mentoring and guiding junior colleagues and Newly Qualified Social Workers.You will:
  • Lead on complex Child in Need, Child Protection, and Court work
  • Undertake high-quality assessments and develop impactful, person-centred care plans
  • Work directly with families to build trusting, therapeutic relationships
  • Offer supervision and guidance to less experienced practitioners
  • Deputise for the Team/Principal Manager as required
  • Drive multi-agency collaboration to deliver effective and sustainable change
? About You:We're looking for someone who:
  • Is a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
  • Has 4+ years’ post-qualification experience, ideally with significant experience in safeguarding
  • Is confident managing cases involving Child Protection, CIN, court proceedings, and pre-proceedings
  • Has excellent assessment, planning, and direct work skills
  • Understands the impact of trauma, abuse, and neglect on child development
  • Possesses outstanding communication, negotiation, and mediation abilities
  • Works effectively in multi-agency teams and brings a solution-focused approach
  • Is committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice
