The Role

Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position
-
Providing 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs
-
Delivering small group and individual interventions
-
Helping to create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment
Requirements.Â
-
Primary area of need: Communication and Interaction
-
Additional needs in Cognition and Learning, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), and Physical/Sensory development
-
Awaiting assessment for ASC and ADHD
-
Strong visual learning and number recognition skills
-
Requires support with attention, communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction
-
Benefits from visual routines, structured support, and calm, consistent guidance
-
Needs help with fine motor skills and safety awareness
The Ideal Candidate
-
Experience of working with SEN / SEND is essential

Knowledge of strategies to support children with complex needs
-
Enthusiastic, caring, patient, and committed to making a difference

Able to promote engagement, emotional regulation, and independence
-
Works effectively as part of a wider school team
