We are representing a leading Manufacturer based in Stone, ST15 area. This role is for an immediate permanent contract working 40 hours Monday to Friday. Due to the location and poor public transport in the area, we are looking for local person or someone that has their own transport.
The production operative will assist with the everyday running of the factory, including (but not limited to) machine operation, packing and production.
A mechanical aptitude is important. Some electrical knowledge and experience in tig welding would also be an advantage, although not essential.
Responsibilities:
Setting and operating machinery/equipment for our manufacturing processes.
Running product lines according to a production plan/schedule
Maintaining machinery/equipment as required.
Proactively identifying areas of improvement.
Skills Required

Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Welding experience and bellows forming would be an advantage
