Contract Scotland is teaming up with a highly reputable, multi-disciplined Civil Engineering contractor specialising in industrial services, civil infrastructure, and infrastructure projects. At present, we are on the lookout for a skilled Freelance Site Agent to contribute to a scour protection project situated in Aberdeen.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building positive relationships both on-site and off-site.
  • Efficiently managing the procurement of equipment and materials.
  • Supervising and coordinating staff and subcontractors.
  • Overseeing permits and safety inspections.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Here's what awaits you:

  • Immediate start, with an estimated project duration of 5 months.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • 10 to 11-hour days.
  • Daily rate ranging from £300 to £530 (PAYE only).

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you should have:

  • A minimum of an HNC level qualification in civil engineering.
  • Experience working on bridge projects would be desirable.
  • Experience working on environmentally sensitive projects.
  • Previous experience in site management within the civil engineering sector.
  • CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid, all of which are crucial for this role.
