Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Shift Team Leader you will:
- Assist with the routine operations and testing of plant systems.
- Operation of overhead gantry cranes and mobile plant.
- Undertake plant walk downs and inspections, ensuring efficient plant operations.
- Record and log all plant findings including defect reporting.
- Understand and comply with all H&S policies and procedures.
- Provide shift cover where needed.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Knowledge of environmental permits, H&S Issues & safety rules
- Practical skills, including basic mechanical fitting or mobile plant operation.
Personal skills
The Assistant Plant Operator role would suit someone who is:
- Excellent with planning and attention to detail
- Computer literate.
- Self-motivated.
