The Role

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our growing Sales Team, managing our National Accounts & Merchant Groups. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in managing Key Accounts and developing both existing and new accounts. While experience in the footwear industry is beneficial, we also welcome candidates with backgrounds in tools, trades, DIY, PPE, Health, and Safety industries.


Key Responsibilities

As a Key Account Manager, you will be a crucial part of our sales team, reporting to our National Sales Manager. You will manage a portfolio of commercial and strategic accounts and collaborate across the business to ensure smooth operations and growth. Your responsibilities will include:

Creating, developing, and executing key account business plans.

Ensuring budgets and distribution align with the companys growth expectations.

Collaborating with various departments to boost key brands and sales strategies.

Providing sales forecasts to inform the business of key account product needs.

Efficiently managing the Key Account pipeline and engaging with target accounts to transition from prospect to comprehensive partner.

Due to the location of some of our Key Accounts the Central or South region would be a good location for our Key Account Manager to be based.

This role is ideal for an experienced Key Account Manager seeking a new challenge or someone looking to step up into a Key Account Manager position. The ideal candidate will have:

High negotiation and influencing skills with a passion for selling.

Excellent people skills and the ability to demonstrate that we can be the best partner to our customers.

A proactive, positive, and highly motivated attitude with the ability to work unsupervised.

Enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit someone who makes things happen.

Previous experience managing key regional and national accounts is desirable.
