Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Influence: Propel the commercial strategy forward by optimising processes and delivering top-notch service.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster clear and concise communication with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Quality Operations: Utilise your expertise in quality operations to maintain high standards and continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Expand into new markets alongside sales.
- Own project comms-run updates and pre-prod meetings with clarity.
- Manage process steps with precision from phase to phase.
- Take full ownership of the sample process, end-to-end.
- Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and tech teams to deliver excellence.
- Refine and manage NPI processes-track data, timelines, and delivery.
- Monitor outbound quality and cut scrap.
- Lead yield and efficiency improvement projects.
- Review production docs for accuracy and traceability.
- Push new methods to perfect casting quality.
- Track and reduce rework while cutting costs.
- Drive smart design tweaks that boost quality and cut lead times.
- Source and secure tools for new launches.
- Inspire through strong, positive leadership.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven expertise in quality tools essential to NPI (DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, process/quality auditing).
- Strong project management skills, particularly in quality aspects of NPI and prototype manufacture.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Exceptional communication and coordination abilities.
- Collaborative mindset with a knack for working with diverse teams and external suppliers.
- Experience in Simulation Software.
- Analytical and problem-solving prowess.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
