Are you an experienced Street lighting operative looking for a new role?
 
We are currently seeking Street lighting Operatives who will work closely with our maintenance teams who deal with street lighting, signage, and associated electrical works.
 
This is an initial 3 month contract with the option for permanent work to the right individual.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
As a Street lighting Operative, you will:
 
·Perform thorough testing and inspection of new installations.
·Expertly install various electrical equipment.
·Skilfully terminate and joint cables to ensure optimal functionality.
·Conduct routine general electrical maintenance tasks.
·Diagnose faults on equipment and efficiently replace faulty components.
·Utilise your expertise to locate faults on underground cables.
·Conduct comprehensive visual inspections, including optical, structural, and electrical assessments.
·Undertake any other duties necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
 
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
·A thorough understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
·A valid driving licence.
·Strong critical thinking abilities.
·Excellent collaborative skills.
·Effective communication skills.
·Proactive nature with a willingness to take initiative.
Requirements:
 
Candidates should hold the following certifications and competencies:
·G39 certification
·NRSWA certification
·MEWP certification
·ECS Test
·First Aid (Appointed Person)
·Electrical Competence
·Experience in street lighting installations.
