Production Manager

We have a new and exciting position as a Production Manager to lead a team of 30+ staff for a Manufacturing firm in Stowmarket. The company are looking for someone with previous man-management experience who can bring in new/fresh ideas to the business. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to make their own mark!

The company are ideally looking for someone who has strong people skills and prides themselves on their ability to manage & build relationships. Ideally, you will be well versed in continuous improvement methodology.

Duties include: -

• Lead the manufacturing function across all units within budget & output targets to meet customer requirements & quality standards
• Implement & maintain continuous improvement & modern manufacturing processes across the site
• Liaising with other department leads to ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of the business
• Responsible for day to day managing of production staff, including any agency staff
• Effectively & efficiently manage the production of the required daily, weekly, monthly targets in line with the customer specifications.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems as and when required
• Ensure all quality process are followed and when issues occur, take a proactive approach to seeking out the causes & work to find a solution
• Maintain health and safety standards within your department

The company offer an array of benefits, all of which will be discussed at the first stage interview. However, some of the benefits include: -

• Negotiable salary of 42,000-47,000
• 37.5-hour, 4 day week
