This market leading company are one of the largest housing associations in the UK and now due to continuing success, they are set to become the largest developer of new homes in the UK, managing over 250,000 homes across London and the South East. Due to ongoing work and an abundance of new properties secured, they now require a Senior Building Surveyor to join their expanding team.

You will be responsible for managing a team of people, and work closely with internal teams, manage key stakeholder relationships such as MP's, Councilors' and Local Authorities, conduct Building Surveys, deal with customer and tenant queries, diagnosing repairs and specify remedial works.

The ideal candidate will be a Building Surveyor who has worked within social housing before, and will hold a relevant Building Surveying degree. You will understand Section 20 processes, and have worked in a similar role prior.

The Role:

*Senior Building Surveyor - Repairs and Maintenance
* Working in and around East London.
* Managing repair cases, rectify building defects, diagnose repairs, specify remedial works using the NHF schedule of rates.
*Manage a team of Surveyors
*Manage key stakeholder relationships

The Candidate:

* Excellent building surveying skills and knowledge of construction methods
* Experience of working in Social Housing
* Relevant Building Surveying qualification
* Will have excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
