Expleo Engineering are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of all manufacturing plant, equipment and facilities whilst improving equipment reliability. This will be a permanent role based at our clients site in Stratford-on-Avon.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:

  • Carrying out repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner.
  • Assisting in the development of planned preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Carrying out PPM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required.
  • Operating maintenance Fork Lift Truck and Elevated Working Platform as required.
  • Reporting breakdown root cause, equipment faults and concerns to management
  • Manufacturing spare parts as required using lathes, milling machines and welding equipment.

Background, skills and experience required for the Maintenance Technician role:

  • A Mechanical or Electrical based apprenticeship with City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proven experience working with both relay logic and PLC control systems.
  • Extensive experience as a qualified maintenance / service engineer operating in an industrial environment (Preferably in the automotive sector).
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns, to include nights, overtime, weekends to support production.
