Finance Business Partner – Gloucestershire/hybrid working

Salary Package Negotiable, depending on experience

Our client, a hugely successful privately owned logistics company, is searching for an experienced Finance Business Partner who will deliver exceptional financial performance for both their business and their valued customers, a client base spanning multiple business sectors.

In this pivotal role, you’ll partner with operational managers to provide financial/business support to increase profitability and improve processes, providing management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Cultivate strong relationships with senior managers and their teams, working closely with operational management.
Manage successful open book contracts within logistics, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Review and assist with commercial business tenders.
Financial Reporting and Analysis - provide detailed insights into variances.
Interpret complex financial data and communicate it effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
Coordinate the budget and forecasting process
Offer professional judgment on financial matters, advising on ways to enhance business performance.
Evaluate capital projects for financial viability and return on investment.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accuracy of financial systems.
Prepare year-end audit information as required.
Support the financial department in central reporting and group-wide requirements.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Professional Qualifications: ACCA/CIMA
Experience: Familiarity with logistics or manufacturing operations (preferred).
Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and interact with customers.
Analytical Skills: Strong modelling and analytical capabilities.
People Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
