Electronic Assembly Supervisor

Electronic Assembly Supervisor required by leading manufacturing company, for their site near Stroud. The successful Electronic Assembly Supervisor will provide leadership to a team of Electronic Assembly Operators and will liaise with other departments to ensure that production runs smoothly to meet the needs of customers.
Main Duties: Electronic Assembly Supervisor
- Leading and motivating a team.
- Planning and allocation of workload and resources.
- Creating and implementing operating processes and procedures.
- Setting KPIs and objectives and monitoring output.
- Overseeing programming, operation and maintenance of Surface Mount equipment.
- Trouble shooting and fault finding of returned units.
- Ensuring compliance to health and safety and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Electronic Assembly Supervisor
- A background within a similar role as a Production Supervisor / Team Leader/Manager. ideally gained within an electronic engineering/manufacturing or equivalent environment.
- Previous experience of programming and operating Surface Mount machinery.
- A confident communication style with the ability to influence others.
- Proficient with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with IPC standards.
If you are already a Surface Mount Team Leader, Electronic Production Team Leader, Electronic Assembly Team Manager you may also be suitable for this role.
