JOB TITLE: Conveyancer (Divisional Legal Manager)LOCATION: Suffolk (Hybrid)SALARY: Competitive salary + car allowance + bonusThe role of Divisional Legal Manager is to inspire and lead the in-house conveyancing team to provide an efficient service led in-house estate conveyancing service for the sale of new homes, part exchange and other related transactions. Supported by two Assistant Divisional Legal Managers you will manage a team of fourteen and will be responsible for ensuring the team provides an efficient plot conveyancing service whilst ensuring that you have a professional, motivated team that realises its full potential and provides a high quality service to both its internal and its external customers. Transactional work to include but not limited to:ā€¢ Preparation of legal packs for the sale of plotsā€¢ Infrastructure agreements for the adoption of works to new and closed developments, including Section 278 and 38 agreements, Section 104 and 185 agreements and Section 111 agreementsā€¢ Land Transfers/Easements to utility companiesā€¢ Sales of surplus landā€¢ Sales of freehold reversionsā€¢ Management Agreements and Land Transfers to Management Companies ā€¢ Lease extensions, deeds of covenant, deeds of rectificationā€¢ Documents required to resolve historic enquiriesApplications are invited from Qualified Solicitors, Legal Executives or Licensed Conveyancers with a proven track record of Property Law and residential estate conveyancing. Ideal candidates will have experience in the management of a large team in a fast paced/dynamic environment.
