Orion Electrotech are recruiting a TIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturing client with over 60 year’s experience and knowledge in hazardous area standards. they work with end-users, integrators, and OEMs across a wide range of industries, including oil & gas, chemical & petrochemical, pharmaceutical & biotechnology, and power generation.
TIG Welder Role Responsibilities
- As a Tig Welder you’ll be working with 316 S/ST assemblies
- Fabricating components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting-up and measuring assemblies; selecting appropriate method.
- Verifying welding results by inspecting and testing welds.
- Documenting actions by completing records.
- Maintaining safe work environment by following procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
TIG Welder Role Requirements
- Min 5 year’s experience in TIG Welding and Fabrication
- Basic health and safety knowledge
- Use of power tools
- Experience with Lean manufacturing desirable.
