Sellick Partnership are partnering again with our not-for-profit client based in Tyne & Wear to recruit a Senior IT Delivery Project Manager on a permanent basis to play a vital role in driving advancement across the organisation.

As the Senior IT Delivery Project Manager, you will work alongside delivery teams, senior leadership and project teams to provide guidance on project delivery across the organisation and make sure that this aligns with organisational objectives.

You will be an experienced Delivery Project Manager with an excellent understanding of change management and deployment techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning of multiple projects and roll-up activities into an IT programme plan, management of full end-to-end project lifecycle, tracking against agreed upon KPI's and the identification and mitigation of risks.
  • Involvement and contribution to organisational portfolio management processes to ensure full project oversight by the senior leadership team.
  • Coordinate and direct project team activities to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and on budget.
  • Mobilisation of IT projects in line with the organisations project management framework.
  • Leading cross functional teams and managing multiple/complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

What we are looking for:

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred, along with extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Extensive experience in It project management and delivering through cross-functional teams in an agile working environment.
  • Senior stakeholder management and excellent relationship building skills across multiple teams.
  • Programme and project experience with the skills to oversee multiple ongoing projects and proven experience in the successful delivery of projects on time and in budget.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to understand data trends, recommend action plans and diagnose problems.
