Relief Support Worker

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our Care and Support team as Support Service Relief Worker. This role offers the flexibility to work around your personal commitments, with the option to choose part-time or full-time shifts in locations from Newcastle to Middlesbrough. 

Day to Day of the role:
  • Provide support within supported housing schemes to a diverse range of clients, including homeless individuals, families, women in domestic abuse refuges, and young parents.
  • Assist with tenancy management, financial matters, and promote health and well-being.
  • Occasionally work alone and actively contribute to support plans and risk assessments.
  • Work on a flexible schedule, including the possibility of short notice shifts to cover urgent needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals.
  • A good UK only experience in working with clients to develop independent living skills.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding principles.
  • Confident in handling stressful situations and taking initiative.
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential.
  • Full UK driving license or access to a vehicle is recommended but not essential.
