Opportunity for a talented multi-skilled engineer to undertake a lead Maintenance Engineering role (multi-skilled with an electrical bias) working in a busy manufacturing facility.

You will be an experienced Maintenance Engineer with good fault-finding skills on machinery, capable of undertaking mechanical fixes where required but also with wider facilities experience as you will also support with site services / building maintenance.

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will be assisting and maintaining the manufacturing process plant on site, assisting with the installation of equipment on site covering electricity supply plant and equipment.

The Maintenance Engineer will also:

Undertake servicing and repairing machinery as and when required and supporting the development of effective preventative maintenance systems.

Continuous monitoring of all risk assessments, and to carry out risk assessments in accordance with legislation requirements.

You will ideally be a qualified Maintenance Engineer with a high level of analytical and diagnostic fault finding skills with:

  • Facilities / Facilities & Maintenance experience in manufacturing / production environment
  • Planned preventative maintenance expertise
  • 18th Edition qualified (ideally)
  • Experience of a range of standards this may include LOLER, COSHH, Working at Height – IOSH also highly advantageous
  • Technical understanding of building systems and equipment
