To lead and manage a children's home, with a new provider, whilst providing an emotionally secure, consistent, warm, supportive and caring environment for the young people of the home. The Registered Manager has overall responsibility for encouraging their team to help develop the social, physical, emotional intellectual and moral development of the young people so that they may realise their own potential.

This particular role is working with a brilliant company and a great reputation for supporting their staff and the young people within their homes, to make a positive impact in their lives.

The young people you will be working with are seeking patient, caring & disciplined role models to join them in their place of residence - having these core values will help you integrate into the company & do well in an environment where a positive outlook & caring nature is paramount to success.

A successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a previous track record of positive outcomes for the young people you’ve previously worked with, in addition to demonstrating a continued constructive level of support to colleagues and others around you to help get the best out of the team at all times. Being able to work from initiative is important to showing strong leadership in a Senior role.

  • Basic salary up to £66,000 DOE inc Bonus
  • Performance related bonus
  • Regular updates with in-house Training and discussions about personal development
  • Level 3 Residential Child Care required (required)
  • Level 5 Leadership and Management (desirable but not essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (required)

Experience:

  • Management in a residential childrens home: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management? (preferred)
  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) (preferred)
