Matthew James Recruitment Ltd are currently on the lookout for a maintenance engineer on behalf of our client. This position is a permanent opportunity.
Salary- £35,000- £40,000pa
Working Hours: 6am until 2pm - 2pm until 10pm (rotational)

The Role:
- Repair Electrical Systems and act quickly to make on-the-spot repairs when electrical systems and machinery malfunction.
- To inspect, repair, replace, adjust, install, wire and maintain electrical mechanical equipment in the factory.
- Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner and as per priority directed by the maintenance manager or production manager/shift manager/ production supervisor.
- Adhere to all relevant H&S legislation and regulations.
- Perform fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Report and liaise any issues or concerns regards to plant/production equipment with Operational managers, Supervisors and team members.
- Complete computer-based PPM and repair logs in an accurate timely manner
- Will be mechanically and electrically biased
- Able to fault find and resolve accordingly
- Possess excellent communication skills- written and verbal
- Flexible with working hours due to rotational shifts
- Show willingness to support your peers as and when required.
