Are you an Area Sales Manager looking to work with a leader in efficient lighting solutions who is experiencing significant growth? Are you looking for a pivotal role in delivering sales growth and expanding a client base within key sectors, ensuring messages are of quality and relevant to sector?

Base Salary £50-55k plus commission and company car

Day to Day duties of the Role:

  • Implement sales and marketing activities to increase revenue and profitability within the designated geographical area.
  • Manage lighting projects from concept/specification stage through to securing orders.
  • Plan, manage, and attend appointments with existing and potential new clients.
  • Respond effectively to sales enquiries and manage customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Customer Service, Marketing, and Technical.
  • Seek out and develop new business opportunities.
  • Lead and participate in meetings, seminars, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Demonstrate products, launch new products, and present marketing collateral.
  • Prepare reports detailing sales activity, opportunities, and market conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records on the company CRM system.
  • Attend training sessions and site visits, including construction sites and secure facilities.
  • Work collaboratively with field-based colleagues, providing support and mentorship.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Self-driven with a results-oriented approach and a commitment to high quality.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to self-assess and improve performance.
  • Credible and comfortable engaging with senior personnel.
  • Reliable, tolerant, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Professional representation of the company at all times.
  • Tenacious, patient, and goal-oriented with a natural curiosity for business development.
  • Clean, current UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to work away from home for business purposes.
