Adult Services Social Worker

Sutton Council Adults Services is seeking passionate and dedicated Social Workers to join their dynamic team. As a Social Worker within our Adult Services team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults in our community. Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments of individual's needs and circumstances, and developing tailored support plans.
• Providing ongoing support and guidance to individuals and their families/carers.
• Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive care and support.
• Advocating for the rights and interests of adults in need of assistance.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.
• Working autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping abreast of relevant legislation and best practices.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England.
• Experience working within adult social care, preferably within a local authority setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and groups.
