Are you someone who has worked in a senior role in the hospitality industry and has that great guest-focused and detail-oriented spirit of an innkeeper?

The Oyster House is looking for our next General Manager to lead the team forward.

  • Pay starting at £40,000 per annum, plus tips and bonus

The Oyster House is the new jewel in City Pub Group's crown. The spectacular Mumbles seafront provides the backdrop for this stunning new build. Boasting 16 Boutique bedrooms, a beautiful bar/restaurant and 2 beachside terraces this will become the destination in Mumbles. A stunning new business in a stunning location our friendly team will offer the unique and individual service our customers deserve.

What you’ll be doing as a General Manager:

  • Getting the best out of your team and inspiring them to develop their own careers
  • Growing the business, driving sales, and making connections with the local community
  • Coaching and mentoring Managers, Heads of Department, and Supervisors
  • Taking responsibility for revenue, profit, and customer experience targets
  • Day to day administration such as scheduling, ordering, and stock control
  • Running shifts, ensuring a positive experience for all guests, customers, and team members
  • Ensuring a positive guest experience for all guests whilst maintaining quality and cleanliness standards
  • Resolving customer and staff questions, queries, and issues
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws, and ensuring that the necessary security is in place
