Resourcing Group is working in partnership with a leading Facilities Management company that specialises in providing exceptional maintenance services for a variety of facilities and properties. Their commitment to excel, offering customer satisfaction, and innovative solutions has earned them a fabulous reputation in the industry. As they continue to expand and take on new projects, we are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their existing team.

Responsibilities:

As a Quantity Surveyor with our company, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting cost analysis and preparing estimates for maintenance projects within the Hard Facilities Management sector.
  • Managing and negotiating contracts, ensuring that they comply with company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborating with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Tracking project expenses, monitoring budgets, and providing regular financial reports.
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing cost control measures.
  • Evaluating and valuing variations, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Assessing subcontractor payments and claims.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation throughout the project life cycle.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on Hard Facilities Management Maintenance contracts.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in quantity surveying.
  • An organised and proactive approach to work, meeting deadlines efficiently.
  • A valid driving licence.
