Job Title: Family Connect Worker
Pay Rate: £13.47
Monday – Friday
Temp to Perm Role
Location: Swansea – with travel to surrounding areas


As a family connect worker you will be an integral role to assisting families, You will be providing a high quality service to families involved with children services supporting with physical, emotional and social well beg.

What you will need:
To be a driver and have own access to a vehicle
Business insurance on your own vehicle
A current DBS


Job Specifications

You will manage your own case load of clients where you will supervise and assess family sessions between children and family.

You will be supporting Families to develop parental skills and the understanding of children’s development needs.

To complete and update risk assessments and prepare plans of work to asses the interaction between guardians/parents.

To be able to work creatively with parents/guardians, children to support their families around complex needs.

To be able to gather, analyse and assess the information provided from sessions to be able to identify and reduce the risk to the child/children in line with child protection procedures and safeguarding.

To work collaboratively with colleagues within the team and other professional bodies.

To work within the Signs of Safety framework, including scaling and words and pictures.
