Randstad are currently working in collaboration with a leading manufacturing business in Swindon. This busy, successful and reputable business are seeking an accounts focused, organised and autonomous Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis to support the smooth running of a busy department.

Key responsibilities of the Bookkeeper includes:

  • Daily cash flow and finance utilisation update.

  • Manage all payment processing and approvals ensuring procedures are followed and
    terms met.

  • Manage all queries, liaising with the senior management team as required.

  • Assist with annual compliance audit.

  • Review & management of VAT and other statutory taxes

  • Bank and supplier reconciliations

  • Prepare and post monthly journals per journal list
  • Manage and run monthly payroll and pension contributions.

  • Annual companies house report
  • HMRC reports
  • Preparation and distribution of the monthly management pack for review
    of the SMT

  • Balance sheet reconciliations

  • Production and monitoring of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
    where required.

  • Accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - able to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excel - Intermediate
  • Experience of working in a high performing finance team
  • Sage experience
