Robert Half are working in an exclusive partnership with a unique, values-led business in Swindon to recruit a Finance Business Partner role on a full-time permanent basis. This is an autonomous opportunity that will play a key role in collaborating with the wider business and contribute towards key business decisions, whilst carrying out various project related accounting duties and supporting with FP&A tasks. This a fantastic opportunity for someone that is qualified or QBE that has a proven commercial accounting experience that wants to be a part of a reputable business that is well known for offering long-term, successful careers. The salary is between £50,000 - £60,000 plus hybrid working and other excellent benefits.

The Role

The main duties of the Finance Business Partner role will consist of the following:

  • Business partner with various stakeholders; translating financial data into business meaning, articulating financial impact of business activities and support with key decision making.
  • Monthly revenue recognition and costing.
  • Preparing variance analysis; explain through variances in relation to budget, forecast and actuals.
  • Financial analysis; trends, business objectives, operations and profitability.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Supporting with preparation of the budget and forecast.
  • Supporting with a system implementation amongst other finance projects.

Requirements

To be considered for the Finance Business Partner role, you must ideally possess the following skills/experience:

  • Must have management or project accounting experience.
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Proactive approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly organised.
