Then this is a great job opportunity for you to join them in their office based in Swindon as a Personal Tax Manager. This is therefore a perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven individual to progress their career in practice to the next level!Your new roleIn your new role you will manage a varied client base made up of private clients, high-net worth individuals with a diverse client base covering numerous industries and business entities. You will predominantly be responsible for their compliance matters, in addition to the management, training and delegation for more junior members of staff. You will work on tax planning matters relating, but not limited to, capital gains, wills and inheritance tax planning. You will establish and maintain close client relationships and be technically astute in order to spot any advisory/planning opportunities.What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed, you will have excellent technical knowledge of personal tax compliance in addition to working knowledge of managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients. The successful candidate will come from a reputable practice and ideally posses tax planning experience and a CTA qualification. Applicants who are ACA/ACCA qualified with a mixed or corporate tax background gained within a busy tax department will also be considered. Your previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy firm will allow you to understand the importance of managing a varied workload with strict deadlines, all whilst developing your commercial acumen and ability to spot additional opportunities for the firm. You must also be a team player, supportive and friendly, as well as possessing excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
