THE BUSINESS:

My client are a reputable family owned business with a superb reputation in their field.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

My client are looking to add depth into the Business Systems department, with a role of Application Support Analyst. The successful candidate will provide the business with maintaining and evolving both existing applications and new applications which will be adopted in the future. It will be key to build longstanding and professional relationships with both colleagues within the business, and third-party application providers. Working within a small team with a good team spirit, to make sure all tasks are completed to an immaculate standard and provide assistance to each other when necessary.

Key Skills required:

  • Application Support: Application administration, Understanding system configuration, identifying configuration issues, system testing, problem resolution
  • Business Analysis: Analysing processes, identifying requirements, and translating them into system specifications
  • System Implementation: Supporting implementation projects, including planning, coordination, testing, and deployment
  • Project Management: Effectively managing system implementation projects, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding CRM, databases, and integration tools in business systems
  • Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving system-related issues, troubleshooting, and providing innovative solutions
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicating with users, IT teams, third parties, and management to ensure alignment
  • Change Management: Managing business change related to system implementation, including training and communication
  • Data Analysis: Analysing system data, generating reports, and providing insights for decision-making and process improvement
  • Third-party Management: Managing vendor relationships, project deadlines, service-level agreements, and performance evaluation
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for system enhancements, automation, and process optimisation for better outcomes
  • Friendly and approachable, to coincide with the departments ethos to support the business
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and part of a wider team
