Service Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)
Gloucester, Swindon, Bristol, Cheltenham, Oxford
Circa £35,000 DOE + Overtime paid at premium, Optional & available + Stocked Company Van + 20 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Development
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Field Service Engineer role on offer with a well-established business in the special purpose waste handling and recycling equipment industry. The role offers a great level of autonomy, chances to increase your earnings via overtime and room for development.
This service-based role will cover client sites in the Southwest of England.
The Service Engineer Role:
- Completing PPM’s and reactive maintenance on client’s recycling equipment.
- Working on average 2-3 jobs per day.
- Diagnosing faults on control panels.
- Completing welding and fabrication work.
- Working on hydraulic circuits.
The Successful Service Engineer:
- You will have a proven background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- You will come from an engineering background relating to any heavy industry sector.
- Proven fabrication and welding experience is highly advantageous.
- Previous experience wiring electrical controls panels is an advantage.
- You will have great customer facing skills.
- Able to work autonomously on site.
- Any technical qualifications will support, but experience is the main requirement.
