Pertemps Swindon is looking for an enthusiastic and confident Office and Professional Recruitment Consultant to join the team permanently, paying £25,000 to £27,500 per annum, depending on experience plus commission.The working hours are Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 17:00 and Friday 07:30 to 16:30.As a recruitment consultant at Pertemps, you will have an engaging communication style to build enduring relationships with our clients, candidates, and colleagues to match people to permanent and contingent jobs, providing expert support and advice, and ensuring that the best possible service is always delivered.The role requires an enthusiastic and proactive outlook with excellent communication and negotiation skills, providing tactical and strategic solutions on service delivery and inclusive talent attraction strategies.Duties and responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain ongoing business relationships with new clients to engage at all stages of the recruitment process and always provide a consultative recruitment service.
  • Meet or exceed forecasted individual and branch targets through proactive service delivery to clients and candidates.
  • Match clients and candidates' suitability for roles to successfully meet their requirements.
  • Complete relevant quality processes and checks to ensure all ethical and legal compliance is adhered to, whilst maintaining an exceptional level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Supporting weekly payroll deadlines ensuring flexible workers are paid and clients are invoiced in an accurate and timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience, ideally within recruitment, or sales-focused environment interacting with a wide portfolio of customers, whilst demonstrating the ability to communicate with the public.
  • Understand and apply the principles of negotiation with clients, to maximise service delivery, sales, revenue, and profit.
  • Understand agreed job-related minimum performance standards and how they will be assessed and measured. (vacancies taken, sales/service calls, client visits, ratios of shortlisting to interviews to offer and hire, etc.)
  • Understand employee rights and responsibilities including equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Demonstrate the ability to successfully manage and maintain working relationships across all levels.
  • Good written and verbal command of the English language.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • A positive outlook with the drive to succeed in a rewarding career.
  • Preferably hold a valid date UK Driving licence.
In return, the Office and Professional recruitment consultant will be offered:
  • Annual salary depending on experience.
  • Uncapped monthly commission on temp and perm revenue, with NO threshold to break before you start to earn!
  • £250 per quarter target-related bonus.
