An opportunity has arisen for someone to join the Wiltshire team and play a crucial part in its newspaper sales activity locally. The job itself mostly involves visiting retail outlets covering Swindon and surrounding villages, mainlining stock levels, setting up point of sale displays and running promotions in retail stores that already sell our newspapers. In a nutshell its maximising sales opportunities and making sure everything is looking good and customers can see the Wiltshire newspapers in their local store.
If youve got experience in merchandising and customer service, then great. But its not essential. Well train you up youll receive a full induction and will be up and running in no time.
Youll need to be computer literate, use excel and PowerPoint, but none of it is complicated. You will have a full driving licence and use of your own car, insured for business use. To apply for this role, all we really need is the following:
- Be friendly and forward facing am ambassador for the company and our newspaper brands
- Be able to respond to a remote brief and follow the straightforward guidelines.
- Have a positive attitude and approach its all about enjoying the role.
Salary up to £24k per annum (inc car allowance) plus a monthly bonus scheme
37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
8.45am 5.15pm (some flexibility on these hours)
